Jon Kubis has been a staple of the Southern California entertainment scene for over a decade. Son of world-renowned arranging powerhouse Tom Kubis, Jon’s international music career has seen him perform internationally for the likes of HP, Google, Intel, Disney, Toyota, Westinghouse and numerous other household names. He has recorded with Reel Big Fish, orchestrated for the award-winning film “A Beautiful Dreamer” and an upcoming Matt Damon film as yet untitled, and recently accompanied Billy Ray Cyrus singing Happy Birthday to his daughter Miley (Hannah Montana) for her Sweet 16th birthday event at Disneyland in Anaheim.
When not engineering or producing, Jon can be found performing with and occasionally musical directing several high-energy music projects. He has performed with the following:

Jon has worked with many industry heavyweights, including Grammy and Academy Award winners Alan and Marilyn Bergman, Cy Coleman, Larry Gelbart, Phil Allen, Dick Bogert (legendary RCA records engineer), Steve Allen, Andy Martin, Wayne Bergeron, Bruce Healey, Humberto Gatica, and Rick Holbrook.
In addition, Jon has performed work under contract for Haute Chile Productions, Vamp! The Lounge (www.vampthelounge.com), Sharon Owens as Barbra Streisand in Las Vegas (www.tributetobarbra.com), Tibbie’s All-American Cabaret, Big Band Beat at Tokyo Disney Sea, River Rascals at Disneyland, Jambalaya Jazz Band at Disneyland, Royal Street Bachelors at Disneyland, the Commercial Recording Arts Department at the Academy for the Performing Arts at Huntington Beach High School, MONTAGE! at Orange County High School of the Arts and several albums for Dewey Erney, Chris Calloway, Tracy Wells, Paul Vaughn, Brooke Wilkes, Jennifer Campbell, and Bill Tucker. Jon was honored to have mixed Steve Allen’s final album, as well as serving as Assistant Musical Director for Cy Coleman’s final musical “Like Jazz” at the Mark Taper Forum.
